Booking Price Profiles

Always Remember!

This EliteParks hidden gem, could save you hours of time with booking pricing utilising this feature.

Streamline your pricing strategy by reducing the number of break night pricing lines when making price adjustments with Booking Price Profiles and gain greater control over length of stays per booking grade.

Prerequisites

Setup - Booking Price Profiles

Within Booking Price Profiles you can utilise this easy to navigate table to create your Profiles, before adding them to templates.

In this example we have created a 21 night booking price.

• Set a code that will make sense to other users

• The total number of nights column will auto calculate based on the remaining columns to keep you right

• In the following columns set the number of nights EliteParks should use first from your pricing

• Use the remaining columns to add additional break night pricing that EliteParks should look for in order to calculate the Total no of nights.

Please note

You will need to allow for a 21 Night stay on your Park card and a suitable arrival day. Without these no pricing would be returned on a 21 night stay as per our example. This rule will apply for any Profiles you set up.

Another popular example would be the 10 night stay. We can set this up in a way that wouldn’t disrupt standard booking patterns. A 10 night stay could start from a Friday. In which case we would be looking for a 7 night price (Friday-Friday) and a 3 night price (Fri-Mon)

Based on this setup and assuming we have allowed for a 10 night stay from a Friday, when searching for a 10 night stay from Booking Availability EliteParks would search for the 7 night price (Friday-Friday) and a 3 night price (Fri-Mon), add them together and return the total value to your advisors.

Setup - Booking Price Profile Sets

Once you have setup your Profiles, we must now add them to Sets.

We have created 2 examples:

• Units

• Plots

On the Booking Price Profile Set Card, we can now pull in our Profile Codes, in this example you can see below we have 10 / 14 / 21 Night profiles assigned.

We can then assign the Booking Price Profile Set to a Booking Grade:

Results

Booking availability searches are returned with pricing available to specific booking grade based on the combinations available.

You have greater control over your offering in terms of length stays and you can massively reduce the number of pricing lines required to be uploaded when you are changing your prices.
