Always Remember!

Check with your system administrator or super user before making any amendments to the system.

When you look at your Customer Ledger Entries and Vendor Ledger Entries, you don’t see the all important names of your Customers/Vendors. You can change this!

Setup

Within both ‘Purchase & Payables Setup’ and ‘Sales & Receivables Setup’ there is a toggle which you can enable to keep this information recorded against the entries:

If this has not been toggled in your system there will be a prompt for you to update existing entries which can be scheduled in (it pops up in the ribbon of the setup window you have open).

You can schedule this routine, and we advise you do so for out of hours as it may lock the table as the task is completed.

Results

If you navigate back on to the page for the Customer Ledger Entries and Vendor Ledger Entries the field for ‘Customer Name’ and ‘Vendor Name’ will appear, and with the routine run, you should see all your existing entries updated.
