Booking Grade Groups

Feature Description

Booking Grade Groups allow booking grades to be grouped together so users can filter availability and dynamically control which fields are shown on the booking availability screen. For example, marina berths can show boat and LOA fields, while lodge bookings can continue to show guest counts.  

This helps simplify availability searches by showing users the fields that are relevant to the type of booking they are working with.

This feature functionality is only available in version 28.5 or later of EliteParks. View which version you are on in the Extension Management view within Business Central.

Important

If a grade is not assigned to a group, it will not appear in filtered searches.

Business Uses

• Improve availability searching – Users can filter results by meaningful groups such as berths, touring pitches, caravans, or lodges.

• Show relevant fields only – The UI can show fields such as guest counts, contact unit, or LOA depending on the selected group.

• Support mixed-use parks and marinas – Sites can manage different accommodation or berth types without one generic booking layout.
