Multiple Part Exchange Deals

Enhancement Overview

We’ve introduced support for Multiple Part Exchange Deals, allowing more than one part exchange asset to be included within a single deal. This enhancement provides greater flexibility when managing complex sales scenarios where customers are trading in multiple units as part of one transaction.

Previously, deals were limited to a single part exchange, often requiring workarounds or manual adjustments. With this enhancement, multiple part exchange items can now be recorded, valued, and managed together, creating a clearer and more accurate representation of the overall deal structure.

How It Works

Multiple part exchange items can now be added directly to a deal. Each part exchange is recorded individually, with its own details and valuation, while still forming part of the same overall transaction.

This allows users to:

• Capture more complex deal structures in a single deal

• Manage and review multiple traded units together

• Maintain clearer visibility of the total deal value and adjustments

All part exchange items remain linked to the deal, ensuring consistency across deal records and reporting.

When completing a Part Exchange that includes an existing item thats related to another deal record, adding the setup within Deal Management setup will ensure that the deal is closed down and the appropriate status is assigned.
