Booking Agent Filter

Enhancement Overview

The Booking Agent Filter enhancement introduces the ability to control which booking agents and bookings a user can access, based on a defined filter group. Using a familiar filter group structure (similar to Parks, Resources, and Salespersons), this feature allows administrators to restrict visibility and streamline user access based on specific booking agents.

By assigning users to a Booking Agent Filter Group, organisations can ensure that users only see the bookings relevant to their role, improving data security, usability, and operational efficiency.

How It Works

The feature is built around a filter group model that connects users to a defined set of booking agents.

• A Booking Agent Filter Group is created, containing a filtered list of allowed booking agents

• Each user is assigned a Booking Agent Filter Group Code within User Setup

• The system automatically applies this filter when accessing bookings and booking agent records

• Booking lists are restricted using the assigned filter, ensuring only permitted records are visible

• Booking Agent lookups are also filtered to match the user’s access

Default Behaviour

When creating new bookings:

• The Booking Agent defaults from the user’s setup

• If not set, the system falls back to Park or Booking Setup defaults

• The Booking Agent field can be made non-editable, depending on user permissions
