Enhancement Overview

The My Elite Images enhancement introduces the ability to display images for store items within the My Elite portal, improving the visual experience for customers. By linking images directly to Master POS Items, businesses can now present products with clear, recognisable visuals, making the portal more engaging and easier to navigate.

This update also enhances how branding images are handled, ensuring operator logos and colours are consistently displayed during portal registration. Together, these improvements create a more modern, visually driven experience for both customers and administrators.

How It Works

Images are managed through the existing My Elite media framework and linked to store items via the Master POS Item configuration.

• Each item can be assigned an Image Media Code, linking it to an uploaded image

• When store items are displayed in My Elite, the system checks for a valid image

• If an image is available, the portal retrieves and displays it using an ImageUrl

• If no image is assigned, the item will display without an image (or use a placeholder where configured)

The system also ensures:

• Blocked items are excluded from returning images

• Only valid, linked media records are used

• Images are delivered efficiently via the API layer
