Prev Next

The Maintenance Matrix (Preview) provides a clear, visual way to view, plan, and manage maintenance activity across your park or marina. It brings together units, dates, and maintenance bookings into one scrollable, interactive view, making it easier for operational teams to stay organised and avoid clashes with guest bookings.

This article gives you a walkthrough of the new Maintenance Matrix and the key functions available within it. It’s designed to help you understand how the matrix works and how to use its features to manage maintenance quickly and confidently

Expand the sections below to learn more about these tools:

Filtering the Matrix

Filtering is the primary way to control what information is shown on the Maintenance Matrix.

Filters are applied from the ribbon and allow you to narrow the view to specific locations, defined date ranges and resources. Once applied, the matrix refreshes automatically to show only the maintenance activity that matches your selected criteria, helping keep the screen focused and relevant to the task at hand.

The new matrix supports smooth and flexible navigation.

You can scroll horizontally to move through time periods and vertically to view different locations or through resources. The scroll bars allow you to move freely across months and availability without switching screens.

Settings (Customise Your View)

The Settings option allows you to tailor the matrix to your own preferences.

Accessible from the ribbon via the three‑dot ellipsis, settings let you toggle fields on or off so you only see the information that matters to you. This helps keep the screen clear and focused on your day‑to‑day tasks.

Opening Maintenance Tasks

Existing maintenance can be viewed or updated directly from the matrix by right-clicking on a maintenance tile and selecting Open.

This allows teams to review details, update statuses, or make adjustments without leaving the matrix view.

Moving Maintenance Tasks

Maintenance bookings can be moved directly within the matrix by selecting a maintenance tile and dragging it to a new date range or unit.

The system will prompt you before confirming the update, including any changes to the resource assigned and date changes.

Queue

The Queue allows you to temporarily hold jobs while reorganising the matrix.

You can open the queue using the menu icon on the left‑hand side and drag bookings into it. This lets you change your view or navigate to an alternative week/time period before placing the jobs back onto the matrix.

Tooltips

Tooltips provide quick access to key information.

Hovering over a Maintenance Job tile displays information such as location details and job description, this helps you to see the detail without having to navigate in and out of job record cards.

Right Click Functions

Common maintenance job actions are available via right‑click.

From the right‑click menu, you can:

  • Open a Job

  • Complete a Job

  • Cancel a Job

  • Add a Comment

  • Send Job Quote & Send Job Sheet

  • View Owner

  • View Unit

This means less clicks and keeps all key actions accessible directly from the matrix.

Date Instructions

Date Instructions provide important contextual information whilst viewing the matrix.

These instructions appear on the ribbon and can highlight things such as location‑specific details, school holidays, or events happening at the site. This ensures staff are aware of key information when planning workloads and can pass this on to team if required.

Matrix Styles

Styles allow you to visually customise the matrix.

You can create styles that apply colours and formatting to maintenace job tiles based on conditions. These styles can change tile colours, text colour, ribbon appearance, and more.

Styles are applied via the filters menu, once selected and confirmed is applied to the current view.
