Enhancement Overview

We’ve introduced a new version of Maps within Elite, providing enhanced visual flexibility and improved usability when working with site maps. Maps allow you to build and manage maps using updated functionality, while still retaining your existing maps created using the previous version.

This means you can adopt the new experience at your own pace without losing any existing configurations. A clear indicator is shown within the map list to highlight which maps have been built using Maps v2, making it easy to identify and manage both versions side by side.

How It Works

The latest version of Maps is controlled through Elite Feature Management, allowing you to enable the new functionality when you are ready. Once enabled, you can begin creating maps using the new version while still having full access to your existing maps, ensuring nothing is lost during the transition. The new version contains lots of performance improvements whilst keeping the same functionality available.

A visual indicator is displayed within the Maps list to clearly show which maps have been built using Maps v2. The new version has visual customisation, including the ability to configure pin and highlight colours to improve clarity and usability. Map filters can also be quickly created and applied directly from the menus. By navigating to ‘Map Filters’, you can create and save filters for future use. Maps created using v2 can be used seamlessly across all existing areas where maps are currently utilised, such as finding availability and managing site tasks.
