Enhancement Overview

The Enhanced Copilot Chat within Business Central has been improved to provide more accurate, relevant, and context-aware answers by intelligently searching Elite Dynamics’ own documentation library here in EliteDocs.

When you ask Copilot a question in Business Central, it will now look beyond standard Microsoft help content and leverage EliteDocs articles, guides, and feature documentation. This helps ensure the guidance you receive is aligned with Elite Dynamics features, terminology, and recommended processes.

This enhancement is designed to support users in getting quicker, clearer answers and step-by-step help directly within Business Central, without needing to leave the system or manually search documentation.

How It Works

When a user enters a query into Copilot within Business Central, Copilot analyses the intent of the question. In addition to Microsoft-standard resources, Copilot now searches EliteDocs for relevant articles and feature documentation.

Where relevant content is found, Copilot uses this information to:

Answer questions more accurately in the context of EliteParks and EliteMarinas.
Provide guidance that reflects Elite Dynamics setup, features, and best practices.
Reference processes and functionality that are specific to Elite Dynamics solutions.

Why Is It Useful?

More relevant answers - Copilot responses are now aligned with Elite Dynamics functionality rather than generic Business Central guidance.

System/User Requirements

Requirement	Description
EliteParks/EliteMarinas Version	This enhancement is available within version 27.8 or later.
EliteParks/EliteMarinas Licence	This enhancement requires you to have an environment with a licenced version of EliteParks on your tenant.
Copilot Web Search	Within your Copilot settings you will need to enable ‘Bing Search’ to utilse this feature. (as shown above)
Dynamics 365 Business Central Essential Licence	A Dynamics 365 User Licence is required to be able to use this feature, you will also require the necessary permissions for the system.
